Standard most common material, medium soft and supportive, mid unit price. Supports vacuum compression packing, saves over 60% sea freight and storage volume, lowest total landed cost for long distance export. Density 18-30D for different use periods: 18-22D for temporary use under 6 months, 25-28D for 1-3 year regular use (most popular), 30D for high frequency long term use. Hard Polyester Cotton (Lower Unit Price, Higher Freight Cost)

Glue-free hard polyester fiber, breathable, machine washable, lighter than foam, no collapse, good air circulation. Cannot be vacuum compressed, only flat packed; for same order quantity, shipping volume is about 60% higher than compressible PU foam, so total sea freight cost is significantly higher even though unit price is lower. Best for short distance domestic shipping, or sites requiring frequent washing where freight cost is not the main concern.


High Resilience / Memory Foam (Higher End, Compressible)

Higher end PU-based material, better pressure relief, slower rebound, more durable, higher unit price. As a PU-based foam, it fully supports vacuum compression packing same as regular PU foam, saves over 60% sea freight and storage cost; only core material cost is higher, packing and freight cost are same as regular PU foam. Best for medical use, long term staff dorms and high end institutional projects.

Temporary accommodation needs fuller lying support

Compare folding foam mattresses or covered foam mattresses. Provide the available bed-space dimensions, floor or bed-base condition, expected service period, and daytime storage method before confirming finished dimensions, thickness, fold count, core material, cover construction, and unit packing.


Institutional lodging, camps, or existing bed bases need uniform issue

Select against the actual internal bed-base dimensions, not only a verbal “single” or “double” label. Color can support area or batch control, but it cannot replace written confirmation of the core, dimensions, cover, and packing.

Standard packing for PU-based foam: PVC bag vacuum compression packed, 10-20 pieces per carton, reduces volume by over 60%, greatly reduces sea freight and storage cost. Fixed PU leather cover (hospital/detention) and hard polyester cotton mattresses are flat packed only, not vacuum compressed. Store in dry, ventilated area away from direct sunlight and sharp objects. Storage life is 3-5 years under standard dry conditions. Do not store PU foam compressed for longer than 12 months at normal temperature to avoid slow recovery. After unpacking, leave at 20-25℃ room temperature for 24-72 hours to fully recover thickness before use.

4. How should thickness and core material be selected?

5. Which core materials can be vacuum compressed?

6. Hard polyester cotton is cheaper, why not choose it for export?

Hard polyester cotton has lower unit price but cannot be compressed. For long distance sea freight, same order quantity takes 60% more container space, so total landed cost including freight is often higher than compressible PU foam. It is more suitable for short distance shipping or sites requiring frequent washing.


7. Can memory foam be compressed too?

Yes. Memory foam and high resilience foam are both PU-based, they fully support vacuum compression same as regular PU foam, same freight saving. Only core material cost is higher, packing and shipping cost are same.


8. Can olive green or other colors be customised?

9. Can we print logos or custom markings?
